Neat online rhythm and drum machine

Thought some of you might enjoy messing about with various rhythms using the online drum machine here. I came up with some neat rhythms that I must try out on the kit.

Once you've had enough of the drum kit, I recommend you click on the "play with spider" tab for some light relief ..... arachnophobes beware! (it also kept the cat very amused!)

Cool, does it only do 4/4 or am I missing something?

Still pretty useful though, thanks for the link

I just sent him an email also suggesting maybe a mod for different time sigs.

He's probably got better things to do than reprogram it but there's no harm in asking!

Right, no harm in asking but I think that guy truly loves to program so he shouldn't have a problem with the request. (man, that spider thing freaks me out especially when you drag him by a leg!!!, too cool!)

Wow, perhaps because it's so simple/limited, I was able to (well, forced to) concentrate on just snare, hat and kick, and come up with some funkier patterns than I actually play. Placing more of the hits around the off 16th notes ([the e's and a's], and not so much on the numbers and the '&'s) really gets things going -- without getting into advanced techniques, 32nd notes, more pads, etc., etc. (not that there's anything wrong with all that either). Shuffle feel, helps too. Anyway, fun!

I got to get back on my kit! But, it's 2:30 am right now and the downstairs neighbors perhaps aren't up for da funk I'd be throwing down at 'em! Oh well, tomorrow's another day (I hope )

Indeed! Great programming! I have to say though... while I'm really impressed with his drum machine... his spider is just astounding!

The spider is downright freaky.

Tomas has updated this yet again (thanks to our prompting). You can now select anywhere from 4 to 16 clicks, thus you can do some simple 5/4 and 7/4 stuff now (using no faster than eighth notes, i.e. 10 and 14 clicks respectively).

Three cheers for Tomas!

Tomas informs me that he has added an export facility. Check it out.
