rat a tat tat on my kitty kat

Hello Liz here....

had to switch to electronic drums because of my apartment so I recently bought a roland hd 1. Have to admit, playing electronic drums doesn't feel natural somewhat like having protected sex! Getting used to the transition though. To be without drums completely causes me to be imbalanced! So please don't take my toys away I'll be nice!!!!

I loved your thread title, but to be honest, I thought it was spam. Or Saku talking about hitting one of his cats by accident. Welcome to the forum, happy drumming!

Liz: when you "move up" to a better kit, the differences will narrow. There will always be differences (so I'm told, I've never played an a-kit).

Welcome to the forum, Liz! I assume you HAVE a cat. If not, I'm sure hampis will have a field day with your post. Espescially if your blonde. You'll get used to the feel and your toys will give much more pleasure as you play with them. Have fun!

lol, you may have met your sole mate hamp
btw I thought the protected sex analogy only works for men?

E kits are just big MPC's shaped like an A kit, if your missing the sound, look into vsti's
I like both, I record with my E and gig with my A
