    pretty awesome night

okay maybe i'm just a little overzealous but i haven't experienced this in a long long time so i'm pretty pumped up about it. i started the night empty handed, went in for band practice and ended with the bulk of two different songs written. i'm incredibly excited about this and thought i'd share. we did some cell phone recordings and if you guys would like to hear them once i get them from my vocalist (likely tomorrow) i'll post them both.

YES!!!!! That's what I'm talkin' about! This is what it's all about! You could totally make some loops of that to practice/jam on your own as well, to come up with new trick beats, then when you get together with the gang, show them what you've come up with.

    Awesome.

thanks for the positive feedback on that. i'm actually playing guitar in this band so it's pretty easy to jam on my own anyway.
good chance i will do my own thing with it on the drums just for fun though. it would give myself a backing drum track to jam with which is always a bonus

Cool. I found myself head banging a bit and hearing a vocal melody in my mind. Very cool indeed.
