    Audio Technica Headphones

    anyone have experience with sound quality difference between AT 30 vs AT -50 40,35 ect...
    are the AT -50 worth the price difference

    I haven't used the others you listed but, I have the 50's and they sound so good I would never buy anything less now.

    I have the 40's and 50's in my studio. The 50's are worth the extra cash. There is more low end and clarity. The 40's are still very good too.

    I have AT-M50's and they are awsome, I spent about 3 hours in "Addicted to Audio" in East Kew (specialist audio store in Melb) tried all differant brands and price ranges and could not better the sound.
    eKit TD9 v2 with - PD105X(S) -PD85(T1&2) - PD105(T3&4) - CY12R/C - CY12C - CY15R - KD9 - Audio Technica M50.

    No experience with the others but I have the 50's and I love them! They make anything sound awesome...goes for e-drums, music and even band recordings on my Zoom Q3HD! My friends are amazed by them I'm getting another pair when/if these ever die! Totally worth it

    I used to have the Beyer Dynamics DT770 Pro (80 ohm) headphones, but returned them for the ATH-M50's. The 50's are much nicer for e-drumming, and they were $75 cheaper! I think they are very much worth the money.

    Good choice. For the record, I use 30's and they are fab.
    2Box Module and HH Pad, Hart Pro 12" Tom (snare), 3 x 8" and 2 x 10" Diamond Drums Custom Toms, 22 x 14 A to E DIY Kick, 2 X Yamaha PCY 130s, 2 x Yamaha PCY135s Crash, 1 x Yamaha PCY 150s Ride, 10" DIY Splash, Pearl RH-2000 Remote Hi Hat, Iron Cobra Double Pedal, Roland PM3, all on an extended Hart Virtuoso Rack.
