    E-kit

    Hi,

I've had these for a long time and have wanted to put up a pix for a long time but they looked like everyone else's kit. Now I've got some wraps on them and finished my AtoE Stealth cymbals. Now I can post a pix because they look like my drums.

Cool! Nice kit! I like the Hoop/logo for the front of the kit. Makes it look like a full size kit without taking up as much room with a kick shell. KUDOS!

    Thanks buddy!

I did that (kick head) so that I could look like an acoustic set and it wouldn't take up a bunch of room. Its less than 20" and fits in my cymbal bag. It is attached using regular lug clamps but with some "hardware" on the back to keep the lugs in place on the rim. Then long twist ties around the frame. If anyone is really interested I will take some pix and post 'em.

Please take some pics of bass and show us how you did it. It seems like a really cool idea....

OK I started another thread for the lug pix just to make it easier for other folks to find it.

I would get a pipe cutter from Lowes or Home Depot (plumbing section) and cut down that high hat rod. Having your hats in the middle with that rod in your way has to be cumbersome. I have cut all of my high hat rods. You might want to pick up a cheap file and round off the edge a bit. If you are obsessive compulsive about looks, you can also cut the bottom of the rod and then re-thread it but that was more effort than I was willing to forgo. Sadly, I own a tap and die set too, I am just lazy
