    That's great.

The Trapkat sounds far better but I realize the recording situation and recorder will have loads of impact on what we hear on YouTube.

Do you, or the quartet, have a preference?

The client and agent like the Roland -- its too hard to explain the Trap Kat to a prospectus. Whats this "thing" on stage & how will the guests perceive it >> that kind of thing. And unfortunately , all the recordings are to a older Sony video camera > off stage/axis to the house speakers

I like the Trap : because there are so many pads on board -- and just one unit to carry in. But the V-mesh are much quieter for the studio...

I also preferred the trapkat sound - the roland was too 'verby.

Visually the trapkat just looks a bit weird even for an e-drummer.

Love the string ensemble. Is that a permanent gig?

I'm envious. We'd kill to have just a cello player (or violin or viola) for our annual Alan Parsons Project tribute gig.

Nice to see somebody getting paid to use their edrums.

We do it every year at this little fan gatherwing we host at our B&B here in Misery. This year 9-12 August with our performance on the 10th. We typically play to a massive crowd of 30.
