I just turned on my drums for a few minutes today. (it's almost 23:00 here so I couldn't keep it up so long)
But gave it a try to the selected tracks and I just loved them!
Thanks a lot for the help with that. I think next week I'll be able to sit on the drums and play longer.
Thanks a lot everyone! It's good to see this is rolling!

    HI guys,
Sorry to bail on this, but I am snowed under with work, so I'm going to have to wait until the fourth edition!
    Good luck.

Hey Rob, what's the deadline on getting videos turned in? I'm trying to round up a decent camera and hope to have one this week. Otherwise, I'm going to have to use my iphone for the video. Don't really want to do that if it can be helped!

    Thanks,

Wow! That's good news for me, but not such good news for this project as a whole! Hope this isn't fizzling!!

That's ok, though. We'll just change the name from "The 3rd International Vdrums Collaboration" to "A Couple of Bald Guys From Opposite Sides of the World Vdrums Collaboration"!

Whadda ya say, Rob... are you in??

I`ll do the video as soon as I get my megadrum (and lots of other stuff) and set everything up. And I expect to do it in max 2 weeks.

What's the deal here? Are we doing every one of these or just a few? Last time we had 4 to choose from and it wasn't so bad to stitch something together. I fear that with what's been presented, the editing is going to be a nightmare and we may not wind up with something cohesive if we leave it as a free for all.

I'll come in again."

Up to you.... do 1, do them all.... I can edit together the submissions of same tracks and then do something with it. If there are only a few for a certain track well I'll make the call as what I reckon will work, or not work.

I've done 3 of them myself, 1 I wasn't so keen on..... but there couild be some surprises in store.....

I'm sorry I've been away from the drums a lot lately. I've had a lot of work and to make it all better we're moving on friday so my drums room has become our storage room... But in max two weeks I should be ready to start recording.
It's taking long but hopefully we're heading somewhere.

I have been practicing along to a couple, to try an work some out, but 2 of the bass lines I just can't work with. I nearly fell into a coma with the 2nd one! I will get to record the vids for the 2 I can work with at the weekend hopefully.

    Hey all,

I just discovered this thread! I am currently on vacation but when I return home this coming weekend, I will fire up the video camera, check out the tracks, and see about contributing some drumming on my new Diamond kit!
So, this is the third collaborative... where can I find the 1st and 2nd ones to take a look?
