    Good one Jman!
When I bought my Pintech snare, the first thing I did was replace the head with a Roland.....The Pintech's are single-ply and I suspect made from window screening, they also stretch out in no time.
NB. Both Roland, and Remo, (who manufacture the Roland mesh heads), claim that they will last 10 - 15 times longer than accoustic drum heads.

So what you're trying to say, is that while Roland is thicker and more durable, Pintech is more comfortable and feels better!! J/K Brian

I remember back in the early '70's (I'm showing my age here), when one of the companies (I think it was REMO), offered a line of heads called Sparkletone.....Various colours in metalflake.
